Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) is a one-day, OFQUAL regulated course designed for individuals who need a recognised first aid qualification for work. This practical course covers the essential skills required to act confidently and effectively in a workplace emergency. Training is delivered in a relaxed, supportive environment with plenty of hands-on practice. You will learn how to: Assess an incident and manage a casualty Perform CPR and use an AED Deal with unconscious casualties Control bleeding and treat shock Respond to common workplace injuries Understand the responsibilities of a workplace first aider On successful completion, you will receive an Emergency First Aid at Work certificate, valid for 3 years, issued within 7 days. This course is suitable for: Employees required to hold a first aid qualification Self-employed workers and contractors Anyone whose certificate is due to expire Individuals looking to attend an open course No prior experience is required.
